Weekly Photo Challenge: Change = Me

I am not comfortable on the opposite side of the lens.  I prefer to be the storyteller painting my tale through photos.  However when I read that this week’s challenge was change, I kept returning to one word….me.  I have gone through a lot of changes through my life, so I thought I’d share a quick photo progression over my 40+ years.  **disclaimer- although I’m not the photographer in some of these photos, I think it follows the spirit of the challenge 😉

Weekly Photo Challenge: Connected to the 9/11 Memorial

CONNECT (v):  to associate mentally or emotionally

9/11 memorial NYC

Although I wasn’t living in NYC in 2001 when tragedy struck, I feel very connected to the event.  The 9/11 Memorial Reflecting Pools are a beautiful tribute to those we lost.  As the 14th anniversary approaches, may we continue to honor the victims.
